Filing Requirements For Designs
Initial Requirements
To secure a design application filing date on your behalf, we will require the following information and documentation:
- Representations of the design (preferably a set of line drawings or good quality photographs on a neutral background).
- An indication of the product to which the design will be applied.
- Name and full address of applicants, including nationality, and (if applicable) State of Incorporation.
- Details of any priority claim, including filing country and filing date.
Post-filing Requirements
The following material may be submitted after filing:
- Certified copy of the Priority Document, including a verified translation of any parts that are not in English.
Note: Forms signed by the applicant(s) are not normally required.
